‘You have no time to think, you just have to draw’ – read the full article on Evening Standard Insider.

While these days the fashion pack capture the shows with their phones held aloft, illustrator Megan St Clair gets sketching.

    ASAI

Bringing his experience of British culture to the forefront, this was a new step for A Sai Ta whose known best for his neon tie die roll necks – a tonal collection which felt country, warm and classic.

    Ashley Williams

AFrom the diamanté hair-clips to the updated grandma knits – it’s a 90s vibe for aw19 from Williams. I loved the colour spectrum of kitch accessories from tiaras to GIRLs pumps.

    Marta Jakubowski

Jakubowski’s suiting came with quilted detail which was placed to ensure it didn’t disturb the cut, a hard task executed perfectly… while her cut away collaged block colour knits were also a favourite.

    RUE L

Outerwear will always be my favourite, Rue L’s was no different – with panelled bright colour and intricate details, I’ll be dreaming of the oversized leather jacket for weeks…

    Ports 1961

A mature mash up, Ports 1961 took prints and suiting to the next level – beautiful cut outs, draped in elegance with a powerful woman vibe throughout.

    Ashish

As per it was a sparkling affair, with big hair and big dreams – a crochet dream made of sequins to be exact. It’s noted it took 72 colors of sequins to create the crochet blanket effect used throughout his AW19 collection…

    Jasper Conran

A lesson in simplicity, it was a chic collection with cuts for the every-woman. From the two-tone graphic prints and everyday to evening range it was a perfect showcase of how keeping it simple works.

    Richard Malone

From his textiles to his voluminous cuts, Richard’s clothes are brought to life by life as such – his woman can’t not feel confident and bright whilst wearing his fuzzy knits, balloon sleeves and immaculate tailoring.

    Roberta Einer

A colourfilled morning, from the glitz of a sequin trimmed mini to a tartan moment it gave the fearless woman a wardrobe – a delight of neon and print.

    Pringle of Scotland

Bringing the Scottish tartan to its signature knits – Pringle gave us an insight into how knitwear doesn’t just mean jumpers. I left feeling in need of a knit two piece…

    Bethany Williams

A conscious collection, Bethany has a voice for others through beautifully sustainable weaves and stunning artwork printed throughout the collection which was inspired by Liverpool’s Adelaide House, a women’s shelter.
