This project was commissioned by the brilliant team at Stylist Magazine for an advertorial celebrating Baileys’ newest launch: Deliciously Light. The brief focused on creating a set of four editorial photomontage food and drink illustrations, each one showcasing serving suggestions and easy-to-make recipes that would sit seamlessly within Stylist’s visual world.
Working digitally, I kept closely to Baileys’ brand palette and explored a range of perspectives to bring the drinks to life. From overhead compositions to more immersive angled viewpoints, each illustration was designed to convey the lightness, flavour and personality of the product. The artwork blended hand-drawn digital detailing with photomontaged product elements, creating a playful balance between realism and editorial charm.
The final series paired Baileys Deliciously Light with fresh ingredients, seasonal flavours and simple garnishes, helping readers imagine how easily the recipes could be recreated at home. The combination of digital drawing and product imagery allowed the illustrations to feel both crafted and refreshingly contemporary—perfect for Stylist’s audience.
This project was a joy to work on, and a great opportunity to experiment with how photomontage food and drink illustrations can elevate editorial storytelling while staying true to brand personality.
