As a live fashion illustrator based in London, I recently had the pleasure of partnering with Mejuri at their Marylebone boutique as part of the celebrations for the annual Marylebone Summer Festival – a much-loved event in the heart of the West End.
Stationed just outside the Mejuri store, I created live portraits and fashion illustrations for customers, store visitors, and festival passers-by throughout the day. Each sketch was drawn in 7–10 minutes, using bold black Polychromos pencil with colourful highlights to reflect the vibrancy of the event. Every portrait was presented on an A5 card customised with the Mejuri logo, offering a bespoke keepsake that guests could take home with them. The joy of capturing someone’s unique style in real-time and handing them a personalised illustration is why I love working as a live event artist.
