This summer, I had the pleasure of providing live fashion illustrations as part of the vibrant event at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Hosted across a long weekend, the event paid tribute to the style and spirit of the 1940s–70s, and I was thrilled to join a talented four-person illustration team inside the Randox storefront, one of the festival’s official sponsors.
Dressed in retro-inspired fashion to match the theme, I worked two 4-hour shifts per day over the three-day event, sketching live fashion portraits for stylish guests who visited the Randox experience. Using black Polychromos pencil on A5 card, I created quick but detailed portraits with expressive, colourful touches to bring each look to life.
Each live illustration took just 7–10 minutes to complete and was presented in a custom Randox-branded booklet—an elegant keepsake that added a personal and luxurious touch to each guest’s visit. The portraits were a hit, with many guests sharing their illustrated moments on social media, creating organic buzz throughout the festival.
Offering live fashion illustrations at events like Goodwood allows guests to engage in a unique and personal way—combining art, fashion, and brand storytelling seamlessly. It was a joy to celebrate vintage style, speed, and creativity with Randox in such an iconic setting.
If you’re looking to elevate your brand experience, live fashion illustrations are the perfect way to leave a lasting impression.
