Creating artwork for print and packaging design comes with a lot of elements and understanding of use – but is one of my favourite outputs of work. I tend to work in abstract or repeat prints that can be placed by graphic designers to be ready to print. Or create a series of spot illustrations for placement amongst other graphic assets. I’ve worked with the likes of John Lewis, and have created collateral for Soho Skin also.
Why use an illustration for print and packaging design?
Illustration brings a unique, textural element to graphically designed product packaging. Bringing together elements of the themes, ingredients, and feelings the item would be aiming to create.
