As I watched Shanghai Fashion Week unfold from the UK, I decided it’s somewhere I MUST go in the coming years.
From the frufru fun of BOF China Prize Winner Caroline Qiqi’s designs which gave attitude and strength, in pairing with couture delicacy in its details. To Shu Shu Tong who showed us the devil is in the detail. Spray paint prints to letterbox red continual highlights via statement earrings and frilled headpieces. It was a feed of inspiration.
I followed along through the lens of Susie Lau, the blogger posting crisp runway shots live from the front row. As I screenshot the favourite moments, key silhouettes and models I was caught by a sense of excitement. Which has been lacking within the European fashion weeks recently.
